Also from the comments in the Ryuganji entry, Aoi Yu on a TV show that "follows a celebrity for a long period and compiles what it filmed into a sort of biographical segment." It's also been mentioned here but without the video, so here are the clips c/o YouTube!

Incidentally, a couple of months back Cyzo ran the following unsubstantiated rumours of diva-like behaviour from Aoi on the set of her recent TV series “Osen“:

She constantly turns up on set without having learned her lines, and becomes a bit testy when she’s given direction… her behaviour often darkens the atmosphere on set. She acts the same toward the director too. Of course, no-one is disputing the high quality of her acting, but it raises concerns for her future.

Then there’s speculation from a “showbiz agency insider” on what made her that way:

She’s appeared in commercials and advertising since her elementary school days, and in 1999 she was chosen for the lead in a stage production of “Annie”, but her acting career never really took off so she paid her dues doing things like working as a model for fashion magazines. She gained recognition as an actress thanks to films like “All About Lily Chou-Chou” and “Hula Girls”. That’s why she really invests herself in them. However, you might say that although she’s appeared in television series before, in contrast with her films, her reputation hasn’t been particularly good. She just works at her own pace, and needs to memorize the script…

Then they wrap the article up contritely with a much more positive account from a “film insider”:

In the film “Hula Girls” she dances the hula in the climactic scene, but she wasn’t satisfied with her own dancing and stayed behind after all the extras in the audience had gone home so she could reshoot just her scenes. The entire crew was impressed by her determination.

"Shaking Tokyo", directed by Bong Joon-ho, tells the story of a man (Teruyuki Kagawa) who has lived for 10 years as a hikikomori (people unable to adjust to society and never leave their homes), and falls in love with a pizza delivery girl (Yu Aoi). He finally finds the courage to join the outside world but finds all of Tokyo under the hikikomori situation. At the moment he finds the delivery girl, a severe earthquake starts to shake Tokyo.

Now I wonder why I didn't watch this w-inds.m episode as soon as I finished downloading it. This counts as studying Japanese, of course! 

The topic this time around is this year's MTV Japan's Music Video Awards. First Keita struts (when I say strut, I mean strut) around like a model, demonstrating how celebrities were walking on the red carpet. Those hips are FIERCE. Clearly he is a model. And then he smacks himself for messing up the script. Loveable keita is loveable in this episode. 

And then they start talking about what they did after the awards. 

Keita: ahahaha it was okay that we were in trouble~
w-inds.: LOLOLLLLLL.
Keita: So after the awards, they had an afterparty, but I went to go play soccer, and I couldn't go. But you two--
Ryuichi: We went.
Ryohei:  Yeah, we went~
Keita: --went. How was it?

LOL RYUICHI. He is so cute. I think they've become so used to letting him speak before the CMs, so they left it to him. He pointed at the projector and the Ryuichi on the projector went, "Stay tuned~!" to which keiryo started dying of lots of LOL because of the coordination. 

You would like proof that leader (who is wearing the nicest pair of yellow skinny jeans here ajshdajkfhalksfhalkf do want!) is very flaily and cute, right? They start talking about the countdown to the beginning of the awards~

Ryuichi: So after our second song was finished, they started the countdown. 
KeiRyo: *agrees*
